Fluorite from Hunan, China

There’s been a lot of green Fluorite coming out of China in recent years and I normally don’t buy much, but this piece caught my eye as something pretty special. The eye is drawn to the variegated phantoms inside the large octahedrons, and to the aesthetic balance of the specimen’s overall form. Great color sad excellent presentation for display as well.

Spessartine, Smoky Quartz, Hyalite Opal, Feldspar from Wushan Mine, Fujian Province, China
$265.00A large and quite attractive old-time specimen of burgundy-red Spessartine Garnet crystals with Smoky Quartz and two kinds of Feldspar from Fujian, China. There is also small amount of highly fluorescent Hyalite Opal present. One of the two Feldspar types fluoresces a pleasing pink color, contrasting nicely against the bright electric green of the Hyalite. From the earlier finds around 2002, when red garnet crystals (rather than the now more common orange ones) were being found. In excellent condition, with lots of fine details for you to explore all over.

Aquamarine from Shigar Valley, Gilgit, Northern Areas, Pakistan
$400.00A large and superbly crystallized specimen of GEMMY, rich blue Aquamarine Beryl from the Shigar Valley in Pakistan. It features a large and lustrous Aquamarine crystal with a beautiful array of cascading terminations. The Aquamarine crystal exhibits a glassy luster and good clarity in its top half. One of the smaller terminations may be cleaved, but this does not distract form the overall beauty of the formation. All in all, quite brilliant as the photos show.

$325.00>A unique and beautiful specimen from the 2013 find of GEMMY Cleiophane Sphalerite in Bulgaria. It features a matrix of Quartz crystals which are hosting numerous very lustrous yellow-green crystals of the Cleiophane variety of Sphalerite and some nicely contrasting Galena crystals. All in all, a very gracefully balanced specimen, with excellent contrast and composition, and loads of interesting details for you to explore. In excellent condition as pictured. Comes mounted on the clear acrylic base pictured (I can remove this on request). From my personal collection.
