Quartz var. Citrine from Lwena, Katanga, D. R. Congo

A large and quite beautiful, NATURAL (untreated) Citrine Quartz multiple “lightbrary” crystal group from the Congo. It features a cluster of GEMMY golden Citrine crystals that exhibit the lovely yellowish color that this very uncommon variety of Quartz is famous for. Lots of fine details for you to explore all over, and in very good condition. One of the largest and finest specimens of this material that we have ever seen, and need less to say, ONE-OF-A-KIND.

A large and quite attractive specimen of polished Orthoceras fossils from Morocco. It features an over five pound piece of Orthoceras cleverly carved into the shaped of a book. Even though much of this material is available, these “books” are very hard to find; I was lucky to find one dealer with a few of these at the Tucson show several years ago. This particular book is very special in that it has “THE FOSSIL BOOK” engraved on the side.

A very attractive specimen of botryoidal Hematite from Morocco. Similar to the classic material from Cumberland, England, it is also called “kidney ore” because of its resemblance to that organ. A rarely seen and quite attractive specimen of Vanadinite from the ACF (Acif) mine in Mibladen, Morocco. It features numerous sharp banded Vanadinite crystals artfully arranged into the graceful formation pictured. The crystals are unusual in that they are barrel-shaped and exhibit a darker center band sandwiched by lovely orange terminations on both ends. In excellent condition as shown.

It features a large feldspar matrix which is coated by a wonderful geography of green and purple Fluorite crystals which in turn are hosting a few artfully positioned crystals of black Schorl Tourmaline.
