Fluorite, Muscovite from Chumar Bakhoor, Hunza Valley, Gilgit, Pakistan

A very unusual specimen of Fluorite from Chumar Bakhoor, Pakistan. Pakistani Fluorite is always very special, and this little beauty is no exception. It features a single composite octahedron of light-pink Fluorite with numerous sub-faces on each side, resulting in the highly detailed and quite beautiful formation pictured. A few blades of silver Muscovite are attached, and the backside is also completely crystallized and exhibits the imprints of many long-gone Muscovite crystals. As an added bonus, this Fluorite FLUORESCES a violet color under longwave UV light and a yellowish-green under shortwave. Needless to say, one of a kind.
