Quartz, Siderite, Boulangerite from Cavnic, Maramures Co., Romania

A beautiful old-time specimen of Quartz from Cavnic, Romania. It features a cluster of lustrous gray Quartz crystals associated with balls of nicely contrasting orange Siderite. The Quartz contains countless fibrous inclusions of what is probably Boulangerite or Stibnite, imparting the gray color to the core of the Quartz crystals. These mines are now permanently closed, so don't let this one disappear. In excellent condition as pictured.
