Quartz, Barite from Aouli, Khenifra Province, Morocco

A large and quite striking SELF-STANDING specimen of red Quartz crystals with Barite from Aouli, Morocco. This mine has produced many fine specimens of Fluorite, Azurite, and Malachite. This specimen is from an old find and is rather atypical of this locality, primarily because of the presence of Barite. Very colorful and showy, with lots of interesting details for you to explore all over.
