Fluorite from De’An Mine, Jiangxi Province, China

A large and very colorful specimen of Fluorite crystals from De’An in Jiangxi province, China. It features numerous sharply-terminated, green to purple Fluorite octahedrons interjoined to create the nicely balanced formation pictured. A second generation of colorless cubic Fluorite crystals is dusted along the top of the octahedrons as pictured. Backlight reveals the true beauty of this large cabinet-sized specimen: a rich teal-green center with with a coating of rich purple accents above. Loads of fine details for you to explore all over. All in all, a very graceful and colorful composition, worthy of prominent placement in your mineral display cabinet.
