Calcite, Quartz from Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China
A very unusual specimen of light-green Calcite from a small find several years ago in Inner Mongolia. It features numerous disk-shaped Calcite crystals inter-joined to create the intricate double-ball formation pictured. Numerous tiny Herkimer-type Quartz crystals are sprinkled all over the Calcite. The specimen is also a FLOATER, completely crystallized on all surfaces, with no apparent point of attachment, and NO DAMAGE to any of the crystals.Lots of interesting details for you to explore all over.
