Quartz from Huanggang Mine No. 5, Inner Mongolia, China
$275.00A large and gracefully composed cluster of white castle-formation Quartz crystals with Fluorite and Calcite from the new finds in Inner Mongolia. It features a beautiful group of off-white Quartz crystals that exhibit highly-detailed, cascading terminations along the prism faces. The Quartz crystals are grouped around a huge water-clear Fluorite crystal that exhibits both cubic and octahedral faces (lower left corner). There are loads of amazing formations around all sides, including the large, double-cross pictured below. As an added bonus, shortwave UV light reveals several areas of red-fluorescent Calcite amongst the other minerals (see the last photo). A true masterpiece of nature, even prettier in person.
