Fluorite from De’An Mine, Jiangxi Province, China

It features numerous sharply-terminated, green to purple Fluorite octahedrons interjoined to create the nicely balanced formation pictured. A second generation of colorless cubic Fluorite crystals is dusted along the top of the octahedrons as pictured. Backlight reveals the true beauty of this large cabinet-sized specimen: a rich teal-green center with with a coating of rich purple accents above. Loads of fine details for you to explore all over. Pyrite from Navajun, La Rioja, Spain
$175.00An amazing and quite beautiful specimen of cubic Pyrite from Spain. It features two MIRROR-BRIGHT cubes of golden Pyrite to 3.5 cm. intergrown with one another to create a fantastic formation that is quite attractive no matter which side you view it from. MUCH SHINIER in person. I purchased this cluster directly from the mine owner, who informed me that virtually all such “chains” of Pyrite cubes from this locality are reconstructed after removal from the hard clay host rock; this piece may have one such such repair. A really choice example of this material, with a very graceful composition that is dazzling all the way around. I’ve included a short VIDEO showing all sides of the specimen – note that the video quality is not very good and that the colors in the video are inaccurate, but it will give you a good idea of its three-dimensional shape.
