Fluorite from Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee, USA

$195.00

A very rare specimen of etched Fluorite from the famous Elmwood Mine in Tennessee. It features a single triangular corner of a cube that has been mostly dissolved by natural solutions while in the earth, resulting in the intricate stepped cubic faces covering the remaining “cone” of Fluorite. Quite unique, with lots of fine details for you to explore on all sides. I've included a short VIDEO showing all sides of the specimen – note that the video quality is not very good and that the colors in the video are inaccurate, but it will give you a good idea of its three-dimensional shape.
