A very gracefully composed specimen of Aegirine with Feldspar from Malawi. It features a single terminated crystal of jet-black Aegerine artfully positioned over a nicely formed group of mottled, off-white Microcline crystals. The Microcline FLUORESCES a reddish-pink under shortwave UV light (see the next photo). Excellent display views all the way around this gracefully composed specimen. All in all, a very attractive cabinet-sized specimen and quite uncommon in this quality.
